The first Bob Ross Paint-N-Party held on Tuesday evening, July 25th was a great success.  There was lots of fun, refreshment and painting.  I hope to do this on a regular basis and will post them with the regular classes.   A Paint-N-Party can be put on for birthday parties, wedding showers, other types of parties or just as a get together for friends.   Contact me via email and we can arrange it.

In other news there is only one class scheduled for August.  I will be away from August 16 through the 26th attending training classes in Atlanta, Georgia and New Smyrna beach.  The classes are all about painting seascapes so be prepared for a seascape class in September.

Happy Painting,

Janice

Painting Tips:

When painting a wildlife picture make sure to cover the canvas with grey gesso before tracing on the pattern. The grey gesso acts as a medium value during the black/grey/white acrylic portion of the painting. If you make a mistake or overpaint an area you can easily correct it. Once the paint is dry you can put some grey gesso over it, let that dry, and then re-paint the area you want to change or correct.

Quote of the Day:
