FOR CLASSES ON THE WEBSITE

Hi Everyone,

Classes are now scheduled through June.

Just a reminder that the class times are now 9:00 am - 1:00 pm with a short break. However, the 1:00 pm end time will vary. We may get done earlier or later depending on the painting and pace of the class. Don't worry, I will never rush to make sure we end exactly on time so be prepared to stay a little longer if need be.

Unfortunately, because of the social distancing and mask mandate, I am only able to have 4 students at a time.

If you're unable to attend please let me know as soon as possible so I can release your spot to someone else.

When you come to class please wear a mask. We will have a break during class so bring a snack if you'd like. I provide water, coffee and tea.

Artist Tip:
Cleaning Brushes:   Use an old canvas to practice.  Rather than try to paint a whole painting pick certain elements you'd like to improve on and practice just those.  You can cover the canvas in white or black gesso.  Use liquid white or liquid clear.  For the white canvas you may want to put some color on it before you begin practice.  A black canvas is perfect for practicing mountain highlights and shadows.  You don't need to paint a mountain just put the Titanium white on the knife and pull down as far as you can before you run out of paint.  You want the paint to break as you pull down.

Stay well, stay safe, wear a mask and get your Vaccine!!!
