FOR CLASSES ON THE WEBSITE

Hi Everyone!!!

Well it's been a year since I've sent out a newsletter.  Some of you know I had some medical issues last year and wasn't able to hold classes.

I'm happy to say I'm healthy and ready to start classes again.

I've had some requests for a skills class so am scheduling that as the first class for this year.  We will practice evergreens, snow on the mountains and end with a somewhat modified version of "Horizons West".

Hope to see you all soon.

Janice

All classes are $50 which includes all supplies.

We will take a short break during class so bring a snack if you'd like. Water, coffee and tea are provided. Also, there is a small refridgerator if you need to keep anything cold. Weather permitting we can have our break on the new deck.

Class times are 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. However, the 1:00 pm end time may vary depending on the painting and pace of the class.

Keep in mind that you'll be going home with a wet oil painting that will need to lay flat in the car. Some people use a large pizza box (bigger than 16 x 20) or you can purchase wet canvas carriers online.

Class size is limited to 6 students.

If you've registered for a class and are unable to attend please let me know as soon as possible so I can release your spot to someone else.

If you try to sign up and the class is full please let me know and I'll put you on a waiting list. If enough people want to take the class I can schedule another one.

Artist Tip:

Take Care of your brushes!   Clean and dry them completely before putting them away.

Be careful using solvents.  Even though you can get odorless solvents they still are toxic.  Keep solvents covered while painting.  It's a good idea to have more than one of each brush so that you don't have to clean them as often.
