A nurse by profession and artist by passion, I discovered the joy of painting in early 2009
when I took my first Bob Ross class. After just two sessions, I was inspired to learn more
about the technique and philosophy behind the “Joy of Painting,” so I enrolled in the
Bob Ross Certified Instructor Training Course. Upon completion, I became a Certified
Bob Ross Landscape Instructor.
Although I hadn’t originally planned to teach, the encouragement and support of my
husband and family motivated me to share what I’d learned. Since then, I’ve had the
pleasure of teaching hundreds of students the Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet technique —
helping them paint “happy little trees” and discover that there are no mistakes, only
happy accidents.
Over time, I further expanded my skills and earned certifications as both a Bob Ross
Floral Instructor and a Bob Ross Wildlife Instructor, allowing me to bring a wider range
of creative expression to my students.
After retiring from my nursing career, I chose to dedicate more time to painting and
family. Today, I teach small, welcoming classes — typically 6 to 8 students — a couple of
times each month in my home studio in Ballston Spa, New York.   All supplies are included
in the cost of the class.
My classes are fun, relaxed, and filled with great camaraderie, offering a supportive
environment where painters of all skill levels can build confidence, connect with others,
and experience the joy of creating art together. First time students are pleased and amazed
by the painting they created.
